On flatter plots or for families with small children a skimmer pool with a shallow beach entry and a bench along one side is often more practical. The size and the depth are decided together with the house drawings, because the pool, the terraces and the retaining walls share the same structure.

Can a pool be added to an existing villa?
Yes, and that is a large part of our pool work. We check the ground, the distance to the house and the boundaries, the engineer prepares the small permit, and the works are planned so the garden is disturbed as little as possible. Access for the machines is usually the main question on an older plot and we look at it on the first visit.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to build a pool?
Typically eight to twelve weeks from excavation to the first swim, outside the permit time. We avoid pouring the shell in the hottest weeks of August.
Do you offer maintenance after the handover?
Yes. We can set up weekly pool maintenance through our team or hand over to your property manager with a written guide.
Salt water or chlorine?
Both work well in Corfu. Salt systems are gentler on the skin and need less handling of chemicals; classic chlorine is cheaper to install. We explain both before you decide.
