This Privacy policy page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what rights you have. It applies to ioniancrest.com, operated by Ionian Crest Construction, Corfu, Greece (the controller).

What Data Our Privacy Policy do collect?

When you send the contact form we receive the data you type in: your name, email address, phone number if you add it, the location of your property, the type of work you are interested in and your message.

Together with the message we record the date, the page you sent it from and your IP address, which we use to prevent abuse of the form.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not combined with your enquiry.

Why do we use it?

To reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quote and, if we work together, to carry out the contract. The legal basis is the steps needed before entering into a contract and, where you tick the box under the form, your consent (Article 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR).

The spam check, the IP address and the server logs are based on our legitimate interest in keeping the website and the form secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Who receives the data?

Only people at Ionian Crest Construction who handle enquiries, and the companies that run the technical side of the website: our hosting provider (SuperHosting.BG, Bulgaria, within the European Union), where the website and the copy of each enquiry in its administration area are stored; Google (Gmail), where the company mailbox that receives the enquiry emails is hosted; and Cloudflare, Inc., whose Turnstile service protects the contact form against automated spam.

When you open the contact page, your browser loads a small check from Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics only to tell people from bots. Google and Cloudflare are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which covers any processing of your data in the United States.

How long do we keep it?

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted after 24 months, both the copy in the website administration area and the email. Data connected to a contract is kept for as long as Greek tax and civil law require. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookies that may be set are technical cookies needed for the administration area, and they are only set for people who log in. The spam check by Cloudflare on the contact page does not set cookies.

Your rights

If you have any questions about this privacy policy, feel free to ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time. If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr) or to the authority in your own country.
